Kate over at Laughing Kids Learn recently shared how she and her kiddos grew carrot tops and we thought it would make a great science exploration for the classroom as well! (Especially around Easter!) Since Kate did a great job putting the tutorial together, we decided not to reinvent the wheel, but we did create some journal pages to help you and your kiddos track the growth of your carrot tops!

Included in the download is a cover page and two simple journal pages. The first journal page allows students to quickly record the daily changes in their carrot top and the second journal page provides a place for your kiddos to summarize the growth/progress at the end of each week.
